Over Time

But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait eagerly for it with patience and composure.

Romans 8:25

Instant results are not always the best results. Patience stretches your possibilities wider than you can see in the moment. If every desire was fulfilled immediately, you’d have nothing to anticipate, no joy in the waiting, and no growth in the process. Some things in life come quickly but the richest rewards, the most meaningful fruit, take time, persistence, and faith. Waiting with trust isn’t wasted time; it’s where God shapes character, strengthens endurance, and deepens our gratitude. Instant gratification fades as fast as it arrives, but the blessings forged through patience and commitment endure. The slow work of faith, discipline, and perseverance builds something lasting, something that can bless not only you but generations after you. Dream boldly, plan wisely, prepare faithfully, and persist with hope. The value that is cultivated over time will not just enrich you now but will echo into eternity.

Prayer

Father in heaven, teach us to wait well. Remind us that Your timing is always perfect, even when we are impatient. Give us strength to persist, wisdom to trust, and joy in the anticipation of what You are doing in us. May we not waste the waiting but use it to grow deeper in faith, endurance, and gratitude. In Jesus name, AMEN!

Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.
