Each Challenge

The difficulties can weigh you down but only if you let them. Setbacks can try to discourage you but only if you give them permission. You always have another choice. Instead of fixing your eyes on the pain of what you’ve gone through, you can lift your gaze to the promise of where God is taking you. Life is tough, yes, but it is also breathtakingly beautiful and filled with reward. Complaining won’t move you forward. Dwelling on life’s unfairness won’t heal your soul. But putting your energy into pursuing God’s purpose will breathe life and hope back into you. Every trial carries within it the seed of growth. Every obstacle can fuel a deeper determination. The enemy wants setbacks to weaken you, but God can use them to strengthen you. Each challenge is an invitation to depend on Him, to trust His timing, and to step forward with greater passion. When the weight of discouragement tries to hold you down, let it be your reminder of the good and holy places God is calling you toward.
