Grateful

O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and lovingkindness endure forever!

Psalm 107:1

Gratitude is more than saying “thank you.” It is a posture of the heart that sees God’s hand in both the blessings and the challenges of life. Thanksgiving is not about ignoring the hard things, it’s about recognizing that even in difficulty, God has been faithful, present, and good. When we stop and look back, we see countless moments of grace, prayers answered, strength given, unexpected provision, quiet peace in the middle of storms. These are reminders that we serve a God who not only provides but who walks with us. True thanksgiving doesn’t end with words; it moves us to action. Gratitude turns into generosity. When we recognize how much God has poured into our lives, we’re compelled to pour out love, kindness, and blessing into the lives of others. This season, let’s not only count our blessings but also ask, “How can I be a blessing?” Let our tables be filled not just with food, but with joy, laughter, forgiveness, and the presence of God.

Prayer

Father in Heaven, thank You for every good and perfect gift. Forgive us for the times we take Your blessings for granted. Today we pause to remember Your faithfulness, to see Your hand in the small and the great, and to declare that You are good. Fill our hearts with gratitude that overflows into generosity, joy, and love. May our thanksgiving be more than words, may it be a life lived in response to Your grace. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

When gratitude grows, joy follows.
