A Heart of Generosity
In everything I showed you that by working hard in this way you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed and brings greater joy to give than to receive.
Acts 20:35
A sure way to be joyful is to be generous. Joy doesn’t come from what you collect it grows from what you give. When you live with open hands and an open heart, you’re not just sharing your blessings, you’re joining God in the beautiful work of blessing others. Generosity is more than giving things. It’s giving yourself. Your time, your care, your listening ear, your steady presence.
It’s love in motion, grace in action, faith with sleeves rolled up. When you give freely, you live fully. When you pour out, God fills you back up. Because He never lets a generous heart run dry. Live each day with a generous spirit. Let your giving make life richer not just for others, but for the One who gave it all for you.
Prayer
Father in Heaven, thank You for filling our lives with more than we deserve.
Teach us to give like You freely, joyfully, and without keeping score. Make our generosity contagious, our kindness creative, and our giving a little louder than our getting. May every gift we give point back to You, the Giver of every good thing. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
