Whatever You Have

Let your eyes look directly ahead and let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you. Consider well the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established and ordered right.

Proverbs 4:25–26

Do not be sad about the chances you missed or the paths that did not work out. God is not finished writing your story. Be excited about the opportunities that are right in front of you today. Take joy from what you have learned, wisdom from what you have lived, and inspiration from what God has brought you through. Leave the rest of the past in the past and look forward with faith. Live your life with hopeful expectation, knowing that God can do more with your future than you ever could with your regret. Whatever you have, thank Him for it and build on it with gratitude and purpose. Think about what you can do today that will make tomorrow brighter. Every moment is a new opportunity to make a difference. Use each one to honor God, serve others, and keep moving forward in joy.

Prayer

Father in Heaven, thank You for grace that covers our past and hope that pulls us forward. Forgive us for getting stuck in what we cannot change. Teach us to trust You with the pages still unwritten. Fill our hearts with peace for today and vision for tomorrow. Help us walk boldly into what You are doing next. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Yesterday is a teacher, not a destination.
