Peace on Christmas

For to us a Child shall be born, to us a Son shall be given… and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6

On this Christmas Day of giving, give peace. Not just the kind that comes when everything feels calm, but the kind that comes from knowing Jesus the Prince of Peace Himself. Let your heart be filled with His presence, and let that peace overflow into your home, your words, your relationships, and even your thoughts. Peace is not the absence of problems it’s the awareness of God’s nearness. When you choose peace, you choose trust. You choose to believe that God is working even in the silence, that His plan is good even when you can’t see it,

and that His love is stronger than your fear. Rest in Him today. Let His peace guard your heart and mind. And as you receive His peace, give it away freely

through a kind word, a patient spirit, a gentle response. The world is noisy and restless, but you can be a carrier of Christ’s calm. Today and every day live peace, give peace, speak peace. Let the Peace of God in you become the gift that keeps on giving.

Prayer

Father in Heaven, thank You for the gift of peace that came wrapped in a manger.

Teach us to slow down long enough to feel it, to breathe it in, and to carry it out into the world. When chaos rises, be our calm. When fear whispers, be our stillness. Let Your peace be the melody our hearts sing this Christmas

and every day after. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

When peace rules your heart, grace fills your words.
