Generous
Do not neglect to do good and to share [what you have], for such sacrifices are always pleasing to God.
Hebrews 13:16
When your mindset is centered on getting, life feels small, pressured, and fearful. But when your heart is focused on giving, something shifts. You become more creative, more joyful, more free. God never intended you to live from a place of desperation but from a place of abundance. When you stop worrying about how you appear, what you might gain, or whether you measure up, you make room for God’s goodness to flow through you. All the resources, opportunities, and blessings you’ll ever need are already in God’s hands, and He knows how to get them to you. Your job is to give, give your kindness, your encouragement, your time, your ideas, your best. Giving opens space for God to pour more into your life. Real success isn’t found in chasing popularity or recognition; it is found in letting God use you as a blessing wherever you go. You are deeply valuable, and you fully discover that value when you let it overflow into the world around you.
Prayer
Father in Heaven, thank You for being the Giver of every good thing. Teach us to give the way You give freely, joyfully, generously. Free us from the need to get and fill us with the desire to pour out. Let our kindness be bold, our compassion be real, and our willingness to serve, be a picture of Your heart. Use our lives to bless others and let Your abundance flow through us every day. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
A generous heart never runs empty.
