Focus, Don’t Frenzy

Doing everything at once usually means doing very little well. God designed you with gifts, wisdom, and purpose and those gifts shine brightest when your attention is steady, not scattered. The goal is not to be busy; the goal is to be fruitful. You honor God and the work in front of you when you give it your whole focus. A mind filled with dozens of competing priorities loses its power, but a focused mind becomes a powerful tool in God’s hands. Be ambitious, be eager, be willing but don’t let the desire to do everything rob you of doing the right things well. Focus on what God has given you today. Finish the task in front of you before chasing the next one. When you choose focus, you choose effectiveness. When you choose clarity, you choose strength. And when you give your best to the moment you’re in, you’ll be amazed at how much more God can do through you.
