Constant Changes
Therefore, we do not become discouraged [spiritless, disappointed, or afraid]. Though our outer self is [progressively] wasting away, yet our inner self is being [progressively] renewed day by day.
2 Corinthians 4:16
Life does not stand still, and neither does God’s work in us. Seasons shift. Circumstances evolve. What once was familiar gives way to what is forming next. If we cling too tightly to what used to be, we risk missing the beauty of what is becoming. Scripture reminds us that God works through seasons, planting, growing, pruning, renewing. We cannot preserve a moment, but we can steward it. Grace allows us to release yesterday without fear and embrace today with trust. Each change carries possibility, even when it first feels unfamiliar. When we welcome life’s movement instead of resisting it, we begin to see how God uses every transition to shape maturity and deepen joy. What we cannot keep is time. What we can keep is the love, faith, and obedience with which we live.
Prayer
Father in Heaven, remind us to embrace the seasons You lead us through. Guard us from clinging to what was and open our hearts to what You are forming now. Teach us to live each moment with grace, trust, and purpose. As life moves, steady us in Your unchanging faithfulness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Every dawn carries fresh mercy.
