Strength for the Step

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Joshua 1:9

Courage is usually needed in very ordinary moments. It shows up when you have a difficult conversation, when you make a decision without having every detail, when you step into responsibility that stretches you. God did not tell Joshua to wait until he felt ready. He told him to move forward with the assurance of His presence. This is how courage works in daily life. You do not wait for fear to disappear. You take the next right step while trusting that God is already there. Practical courage means: You do what you know is right even when it is uncomfortable. You stop postponing what needs to be addressed. You trust God with outcomes you cannot control. You move forward even if progress feels slow. Strength grows through use. Each act of obedience makes the next one easier. Each time you choose faith over hesitation your confidence in God becomes more steady. Today is not about doing something dramatic. It is about taking the next faithful step and remembering you do not take it alone.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, Give me courage for the responsibilities and decisions in front of me today. Help me to take the next right step instead of waiting for perfect conditions. Remind me that You are with me in every conversation, every task, and every challenge. Let my confidence be rooted in Your presence and not in my feelings. In Jesus name AMEN!

Courage is taking the next faithful step while trusting God with the result.
