Set Your Mind Above
Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above the heavenly things, not on things that are on the earth which have only temporal value.
Colossians 3:2
Your focus will shape your experience of this day. If your mind stays fixed on pressure, comparison, and urgency, your heart will feel unsettled even when nothing is actually wrong. When your thoughts return to Christ and to what is eternally true, you gain perspective that steadies you. Setting your mind above is a daily practice. It happens when you pause and remind yourself: God is in control. My purpose is larger than today’s tasks. People matter more than productivity. This moment can be lived for Christ. This changes how you handle interruptions. It changes how you respond to inconvenience. It keeps small frustrations from becoming large burdens. You cannot always control what demands your attention, but you can train your mind where to return. A Christ centered focus produces a calmer spirit, clearer decisions, and more consistent joy.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, train my mind to return to what is true and eternal. When distractions and pressures pull at me, remind me to lift my thoughts to Christ. Help me to see people, responsibilities, and challenges from Your perspective so that I walk through this day with peace and clarity. In Jesus name AMEN!
Where your mind rests will shape how your day unfolds.
