Serve with Joy

Whatever you do whatever your task may be work from the soul that is put in your very best effort as something done for the Lord and not for men.

Colossians 3:23–24

Your daily work has spiritual value because of who you do it for. Even routine tasks become meaningful when they are offered to God. This changes your attitude toward responsibilities that feel small or unnoticed. Serving with joy means: You give your best effort whether anyone sees it or not. You stay faithful in what has been assigned to you today. You take responsibility for your attitude.

You see your work as part of your calling. This removes the constant need for recognition and replaces it with quiet purpose. Faithfulness in ordinary things builds a life of influence and trust.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, help me to approach my work today as an offering to You. Give me diligence, a positive attitude, and a faithful heart in every responsibility. Let me serve with joy and integrity whether I am seen or unseen. In Jesus name AMEN!

When your work is done for God it is never ordinary.
