Discipline in Thought
We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ.
2 Corinthians 10:5
Your thoughts shape your strength. If your mind is scattered, your energy is scattered. When your thinking is disciplined, your actions become more effective and your emotions more stable. You do not have to believe every thought that enters your mind. You can examine it and choose whether it aligns with truth. You build disciplined thinking when: You replace negative assumptions with what is true. You refuse to replay unhelpful conversations. You focus on solutions instead of problems. You return your mind to God’s promises. This is not denial. It is training your mind to serve your calling instead of weakening it.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, teach me to take my thoughts captive and to focus on what is true. Guard my mind from distractions and from patterns that weaken my strength. Let my thinking be clear, disciplined, and aligned with Your truth. In Jesus name AMEN!
A disciplined mind produces a resilient life.
