A Steady Place

Life does not always feel stable, but stability is still available, not in circumstances but in where you stand. When everything around you feels uncertain, your instinct may be to search for control, to fix or predict what comes next. But strength is not found in controlling everything. It is found in knowing where to return. God is not distant in difficulty. He is present, not occasionally, but consistently. You may not be able to steady everything around you, but you can steady yourself in Him, and that changes how you walk through whatever comes.
