Strength Through Waiting

But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] will gain new strength and renew their power; they will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; they will run and not become weary, they will walk and not grow tired.

Isaiah 40:31

Waiting is one of the hardest forms of trust because it asks you to remain steady before you see results. Most people prefer movement, answers, and visible progress, yet many important things in life develop slowly beneath the surface. God often works deeply during seasons that feel delayed. Waiting does not mean nothing is happening. It means growth is taking place in ways you cannot fully see yet. Patience stretches your faith, deepens your dependence on God, and teaches you to trust His timing instead of forcing your own. There is strength formed in waiting that cannot be developed through constant rushing. When you remain anchored in God during uncertain seasons, He renews what impatience would have exhausted.

Prayer

Father in Heaven, strengthen us in seasons of waiting. When answers feel delayed or progress feels unclear, help us remain grounded in trust instead of frustration. Renew our strength, deepen our patience, and remind us that You are still working even when we cannot yet see the outcome. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN!

Patience often prepares you for what is ahead.
