The Value of Patience
The end of a matter is better than its beginning; patience of spirit is better than haughtiness of spirit (pride).
Ecclesiastes 7:8
Patience is one of the least celebrated virtues and one of the most necessary. Most people enjoy beginnings because they are filled with possibility, but patience is required to reach meaningful endings. It keeps you steady when progress feels slower than expected and helps you remain faithful while results are still developing. God often works through processes that cannot be rushed. Character matures gradually. Relationships deepen over time. Wisdom grows through experience. Patience allows you to cooperate with what God is building instead of becoming frustrated by the pace. Waiting does not always feel productive, but some of God's best work happens in seasons where growth is taking place beneath the surface.
Prayer
Father in Heaven, teach us to trust Your timing when we would rather hurry ahead. Give us patience in seasons where progress feels slow. Help us remain steady and hopeful, knowing that You are working even when we cannot yet see the full result. In Jesus' Name, AMEN!
Patience allows growth to finish its work.
