A Heart That Encourages

Therefore encourage and comfort one another and build up one another, just as you are doing.

1 Thessalonians 5:11

Encouragement is one of the simplest gifts you can offer and one of the most powerful. A timely word can strengthen a weary heart, restore confidence, and remind someone they are not alone. Yet encouragement is often overlooked because it feels small. God understands its value. Throughout Scripture, He continually uses His words to strengthen, comfort, and guide His people. When you encourage others, you reflect something of His heart. You never fully know what someone else may be carrying. A kind word, a thoughtful message, or a sincere expression of appreciation can become a turning point in someone's day. The world has enough criticism. What it needs more of is people who intentionally build others up.

Prayer

Father in Heaven, help us become people who strengthen and encourage those around us. Open our eyes to opportunities to speak life, offer support, and reflect Your kindness. Use our words to bring hope, comfort, and strength wherever You place us. In Jesus' Name, AMEN!

Encouragement costs little but can change everything.
