Remember What Matters Most
But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you.
Matthew 6:33
Life has a way of competing for your attention. Responsibilities multiply, priorities become crowded, and before long you can find yourself busy with many things while slowly losing sight of what matters most. Jesus continually called people back to first things. Not because other responsibilities were unimportant, but because everything works best when God remains at the center. Priorities create direction. What you place first influences every other decision that follows. When your relationship with God becomes your foundation rather than an afterthought, wisdom becomes clearer, peace becomes steadier, and purpose becomes easier to recognize. A well-ordered life does not happen by accident. It is built through the daily choice to seek God's kingdom first.
Prayer
Father in Heaven, help us keep first things first. When distractions compete for our attention, draw our hearts back to You. Teach us to build our lives around what is eternal and help us pursue Your kingdom with clarity, faithfulness, and joy. In Jesus' Name, AMEN!
What comes first shapes everything that follows.
